This sentiment, combined with a passion for entrepreneurship, led me to begin the journey to create Scrub Be Love, an eco-friendly sponge company with a mission to revolutionize the way we clean.
The creations of Scrub Be Love began with a personal frustration: the struggle to find a sponge that not only performed well but also wasn’t made from disposable plastics, contributing to waste on a major scale. Like many others, I found myself cycling through disposable sponges, breaking down and shedding microplastics while contributing to the ever-growing pile of waste in landfills at their end of life. With the knowledge that most sponges take centuries to break down, I was determined to find a solution. I set out to create a sponge that not only met my performance expectations but also embodied sustainability at its core.
I've always been an entrepreneur at heart, but I was adamant that my next venture would transcend mere consumerism. I wanted to build a brand that stood for something greater – amazing products that kept stewardship of the environment in mind l. Thus, Scrub Be Love was born. I found the perfect combination of material with tough scrubbing coconut coir and porous and durable wood pulp cellulose which enabled Scrub Be Love to be made of 100% biodegradable material.
